Take a day
It is the first day of April! What a great day to figure out your true passion…
Craig Nathanson at www.eslteachersboard.com wrote an article for Career Focus I don’t know how long ago… It has been on my bulletin board ever since I read it…
The name of the article is “Take a Day to Figure Out Your True Passion.”
This is what he says:
If you had an entire day to yourself with no constraints or limitations, how would you spend the day?
1. Write down in detail how the day would go, from the time you wake up until you go to sleep.
2. Pay attention to all your senses; they provide important clues to your internal self:
What do you see?
What do you hear?
What do you smell?
What do you taste?
What can you touch?
3. Put away your notes until the next day. Now, read through them and see if you can identify three ideas that resonate. Look carefully: These are likely to be your true passions.
I am going to do this today; I hope you will too. If not today-soon? We would LOVE to hear what you have learned about yourself!
