optimum health

Suddenly, I have been filled with questions regarding all of the “diets” out there.  Weight Watchers, Zone, Atkins, Fat flush, South Beach,the list goes on and on (and on…).

Some of these “diets” are o.k, some are too restrictive in one or more nutrients.  Personally, I am against these “one size fits all” plans.  We are all different; with different lives, heights, weights, and goals.  Our one goal that I would love for us all to have in common, is optimum health.  For some that may include weight loss, for others just eating more fruits and vegetables. 

Zonya Foco, RD, has formulated eight habits that will certainly get us on the path of optimum health!  Zonya calls them “the power of one good habit.”  The idea behind that is to go through the eight habits, one at a time.  Incorporate that habit into your life, and then go on to the next.
