The First full day of Autumn
It is September 23, the first full day of Autumn. Where did the summer go?
When I think of Autumn I think of the falling leaves of magnificent colors, raking them up and then (of course), jumping in the pile of leaves. I think of walking through the woods and listening to the “crunching” sound of the leaves on the trail. This all certainly is a part of my building block named nature.
I also think of “fall cleaning.” Making room for the “winter stores” as they say… It is a form of simplicity, one of my other building blocks, but simplifying to prepare to snuggle down for Winter.
It will be easy to get outside and PLAY. Especially, when our grandchildren are here!
Fall cleaning is going to take some planning. It takes a delibrate mind set. I need a plan…
It is still September-so my focus is still education. Whew! I just bought myself some time…:) One week to get my plan together; on Oct.1, I will be ready to CLEAN! To clean and make room to “climb a little higher.”
What does Autumn mean to YOU?
What will YOU do to “climb a little higher?”
